Your support helps us make the Mill Creek Water Trail a safe, family-friendly destination and a treasured natural resource for Jackson County. Together, we are restoring and protecting Mill Creek through cleanup efforts, environmental education, conservation initiatives, and community partnerships.

Mission
The Mission of Friends of Mill Creek Association is to protect and enhance the environmental, recreational, and economic viability of the Mill Creek Watershed through community action, education, and cooperative efforts with residents, businesses, media, and governmental partners.

The Friends of Mill Creek Association envisions a West Virginia whose citizens are healthy, well-educated, empowered, and proactive; who have a strong sense of community, opportunities for rewarding employment, and an enviable quality of life.
About Our Organization
Education
The Friends of Mill Creek Association introduces water education and conservation early by engaging with elementary schools. These efforts continue with programs designed for adults and family-focused activities, ensuring everyone can play a role in protecting our watershed
Fun Events
Throughout the kayaking season, the Friends of Mill Creek Association hosts activities for all ages. From fun children’s events to our relaxing Sunday Floats, it’s the perfect way for beginners to experience paddling Mill Creek for the first time.
